Rod is the current Chairman of the Real Estate Institute – Orana Division and immediate past Secretary and Treasurer of the Division also. Teaching the Real Estate course through Dubbo TAFE also allows Rod to assist new entrants into the industry gain a better understanding of what is required to succeed in their chosen field.
Some of Rods qualifications include licensed Real Estate Agent, licensed Stock and Station Agent and licensed Business Agent. Rod has also achieved “Captains Club” status, placing him in the Top 10% of agents in the franchise two years running.
Some courses completed include the Advanced Cert Property Agency, Cert IV in Workplace and Assessment, First Aid, Residential Sales Certificate, numerous sales based certificates and seminars.
After moving from the Blue Mountains in 1996, Rod met his wife Danielle and they have been blessed with four wonderful children. Twins Harrison and Charlotte, Chloe and recently Hannah. As a family, they continue the renovations on their home, enjoy a picnic and play in the park with the kids and time out on the family farm.
